  1. City Hall planning is on schedule for June 10th when the architect’s stipends are to be
    awarded. Recommendations Review included the street Farallon not connect through
    to MacArthur, limiting access to City Hall from MacArthur, access issues with medians,
    turn lanes, traffic signals, etc. to give architect’s the parameters within which to design.
    Since there is too much confusion at the library access through CDM Plaza, a separate
    driveway entrance to the Main Library will be created where the book drop is currently
    located. A suggestion was made to video stream the architect’s presentations for public
    viewing.
  2. Tommy Bahama Restaurant received approval for outdoor dining in front since interior
    remodel resulted in reduced seating capacity

  4. Website Topic; since a ”Parking Study” is being conducted (the last study was done in 2000),
    what specific problems are being experienced by residents? It was suggested that several
    different parking areas throughout CDM would be better than one lot; is elevated parking for
    business employees feasible; include a summarization of the parking study meeting; our
    community feedback would contribute to the study. Consider asking the consultants to speak

I.  Planning Commissioner Michael Toerge reports
  1. Owner of Begonia property at Pacific Dr. and Bayside Park desires to place the home site on a
    portion of the property with a steeper grade which would improve the view from the park;

    parking options. Aries project still being refined. Von’s Pavilions has 55,000 sq. ft. with 20% of
